Biography

With a background of performing in function bands as a pianist and backing singer, Curtis started DJing as a way to improve what they could offer as a band, but also due to seeing far too many DJs who… didn’t actually DJ!

DJ Curtis is a highly professional, reliable, and friendly guy, who's happy to work closely with clients to really tailor their event to their needs - whether that simply be the style of music he plays, or hosting special moments during your event, such as particular cultural practices when weddings combine different nations. Some past examples include the “dollar dance”, knot-tying ceremonies, and helming European folk celebrations.

He is also comfortable on the mic, and is happy to provide Master of Ceremony duties on the day.

With Curtis on the decks, you can expect fun, high-energy, seamless mixing across a variety of styles - a DJ who simply cannot stand still!

Curtis was brilliant with us on the day. We ran behind schedule by an hour and he was really flexible with the changes, whilst sorting out the set-up seamlessly. He used our playlists as a main reference and mixed in other songs which worked perfectly with the crowd at our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to take care of our evening and reception - he was exactly the vibe we were looking for.
