"I got into music as a young kid, hearing my parents playing Earth Wind & Fire and Stevie Wonder LPs on Sunday mornings. In my teens I fell in love with the early days of hip-hop, thanks to the likes of Public Enemy and De La Soul, which later blossomed into a more all-encompassing love of funky sounds designed to fill dancefloors.

I fell into DJing by accident, as so many do. In my early 20s I'd built up a pretty hefty record collection, and was asked by a friend of a friend to play at a student disco at Edge Hill College. I learned the basics of using decks just the night before the party, courtesy of a last-minute lesson from a friend of my sister who had some decks. And ever since that night, I knew I'd want to do this for the rest of my life.

I'm able to build an ambience and a vibe throughout different phases of the night, by going into each event with a crystal clear idea of what the client wants, delivering exactly what they asked for and more."
