Since 2007, Bas has been on a mission to make people dance. What started with all-vinyl funk, soul, and hip-hop sets in the bars and clubs of Exeter and Devon quickly turned into a thriving career, with high-energy mash-up residencies in Bristol, Bournemouth, Leeds, and London. His unique style and dynamic sets have taken him across the UK and beyond, including prime-time performances at iconic festivals like Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bestival, and Soundwave.
He’s also no stranger to some of London’s most legendary venues – from the O2 Arena and Heaven to Brixton Jamm, Plan B, and Notting Hill Arts Club and his ever popular mixes have been featured on national radio shows and shared on some of the world’s top dance music blogs, with hundreds of thousands of streams and downloads worldwide.
Since 2018, He’s been a regular DJ at Wembley Stadium, spinning exclusive after-parties for global superstars such as Ed Sheeran, Fleetwood Mac, P!nk, Bon Jovi, and the Spice Girls – playing to VIP crowds of over 1,000 guests.
Alongside his mainstream career Bas was one of just two permanent residents at the wildly popular Electric Empire, where he helped grow the night from grassroots venues to sold-out events at Electric Brixton, supporting legends like Grandmaster Flash, DJ Yoda, Craig Charles, Congo Natty, Stanton Warriors, Z-Trip, A.Skillz, and Krafty Kuts.
