Biography

The Electric Harpist is a south-west-based electro-acoustic harpist who will elevate your day to unimaginable heights.

Specialising in adapting modern pop music, Disney and film scores for weddings and events, The Electric Harpist is far from your conventional classical musician, and aspires to make music that’s not only beautiful and tranquil, but can also be fun, upbeat and punchy. At every event she’ll have guests playing ‘guess the song’ and remarking ‘I can’t believe she’s playing that on the HARP!’..!

As well as being able to play acoustically or with light amplification, for more of a party atmosphere she'll mix the harp with beats, FX pedals or her loop pedal to add yet more musical layers. Her repertoire is extraordinary - both incredibly vast and performing tracks from a wildly eclectic range of artists. She will also be happy to learn a new song or two especially for your big day.

Having performed professionally since the age of 14, she now has over 10 years of happy clients and hundreds of weddings under her belt. Although weddings tend to be her main focus, she's also performed at a host of corporate events, private parties, art galleries, care homes, ships, interactive theatre shows, circus shows, spooky Halloween events, anniversaries and on top of the flying trapeze rig at Glastonbury Festival.

The harp is an otherworldly instrument that makes a heavenly sound ideal for a magical wedding. The Electric Harpist brings all that and more, with her unique twist on a unique instrument to make for a unique wedding.
