Biography
The Tremé are a nine-piece funk and soul band comprised of some of the best musicians in the north west.
Fronted by the sensational lead vocals of Amber Kuti and Elly Grice, these cats bring rhythmic, funky and soulful grooves - and boast a wealth of experience of performing across the UK and beyond for a range of clients.
Born out of a mutual love of The Funk Brothers and The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, the band is available as an 9-piece line up featuring drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals with a three-piece horn section. This line-up can be extended to include additional backing vocalists and percussion for the full Funk Brothers experience!
Focusing firmly on soul and funk, Tremé shows explore the hits of Motown, Stax, Atlantic, Chess and Northern Soul, as well as putting their unique stamp on a variety of classic and contemporary floor fillers.
The Tremé will be happy to work with you to adapt their setlist, accept first dance requests and whatever else it may take to tailor their show just for you and your big night!
